When billing fails or your plan ends
Open Account → Plan & billing. Any problem shows as a message at the top of that screen.
"Your last payment failed. Update your payment method to keep access."
Your card was declined — usually expired, over its limit, or blocked by the bank.
- Open Account → Plan & billing.
- Select Manage billing.
- Update the card in the portal.
Do this promptly. Access continues for a short grace period, not indefinitely.
"Your free trial has ended. Choose a plan to reopen your kitchen."
Your 14 days are up and no plan was chosen. Your kitchen admin is locked until you pick one.
Nothing has been deleted. Your dishes, menus, customers, and order history are all intact and come straight back when you choose a plan.
Select Choose Basic or Choose Premium on Plan & billing.
If you cancel
Canceling stops your Stovefront plan at the end of the period you have paid for. It does not cancel or refund food orders customers have already placed with you — those are between you and them, and you still owe them their food.
Tell your customers before you cancel if your storefront is going away.
Going from Premium to Basic
Your data stays. The Premium tools stop working: costing, Benchmarks, Storage, AI images, your custom domain, and pickup locations beyond the first 2.
If you have more than 2 pickup locations set up, only the first 2 will show to customers. Check which ones before you downgrade.
If the status looks wrong
Plan and billing status is updated by Stripe and can lag a minute or two after a payment. If it still looks wrong after that, contact support rather than paying twice.
