Change your Stovefront address
Every kitchen gets an included Stovefront address, such as
app.stovefront.com/your-kitchen-name. The part after the slash is your username. You
can change it at any time.
Go to Website → Design → Homepage.
Use Open to visit your address or Copy to copy it for sharing.
Change your username
- Select Edit next to your current address.
- Type a new username. It can only use lowercase letters, numbers, and single hyphens between words — no spaces or other punctuation.
- Stovefront checks whether it is taken as you type. You will see This address is available or a reason it is not, such as it already being in use or reserved by Stovefront.
- Select Save address, then read the warning and select Yes, change my address to confirm.
Your previous address redirects to your current storefront. Existing bookmarks, flyers and shared links continue to work after you change your username. Update links when convenient so customers see your preferred address. If you rename the storefront again, previous addresses redirect directly to the latest one.
Your custom domain, if you have connected one, is not affected.
Previous usernames are reserved for your kitchen when you change your address. Another kitchen cannot claim them, and you can select one of your previous usernames again if you want to restore it. Reservations apply to address changes made after this protection was introduced; they do not recover usernames released before then.
Discoverability
Underneath your address, expand Discoverability to find the checkbox: Share my Stovefront on Stovefront.com. Turning it on submits your storefront for review to appear in the public Stovefront directory, where new customers can browse kitchens. Turning it off removes it from the directory; it does not unpublish your storefront.
This checkbox is only available once your storefront is published.
