Put an ordering badge on your other website

If you already have a website, a blog, or a Linktree page, you can put a Stovefront ordering badge on it. Customers click the badge and land on your storefront, ready to order.

Go to Website → Publish & share → Share & embed.

Pick a badge

BadgeWhat it showsGood for
Inline pillOne line: the Stovefront mark and "Order from your kitchen".A footer, a sidebar, or the end of a sentence.
CardYour logo, name, whether you are taking orders, and an Order button.A homepage or an "Order food" page.
Menu boardThis week's dishes with photos and prices.A page where you want people to see the food before they click.

The card and menu board keep themselves up to date. When you publish a new week, sell out, or turn on Vacation mode, every badge you have placed changes to match. You do not paste anything again.

Adjust it

  • Theme — Light, Dark, or Match the visitor's system theme. Pick Dark if your website has a dark background.
  • Size — Small, Medium, or Large.
  • Corners — Rounded, Pill, or Square, so it matches the rest of your site.
  • Button label — Replace "Order Now" with your own wording, up to 40 characters.

The preview shows exactly what visitors will see.

Copy it into your site

There are two tabs under the preview.

Embed code is the one to use. It is a single line. Paste it into whatever your website calls an embed block:

  • Squarespace — add a Code block, paste, save.
  • Wix — Add → Embed Code → Embed HTML, paste, click Update.
  • WordPress — add a Custom HTML block and paste.
  • Anything else — look for a block named Embed, HTML, or Code.

Plain HTML is the backup. A few website builders strip out embed blocks on their cheaper plans. This version is an ordinary link, so it works everywhere — but it cannot show live ordering status or this week's dishes, and the menu board falls back to the card layout. It also helps search engines find your storefront, so it is worth using in a footer even if you use the embed code elsewhere.

Publish your storefront first

If your storefront is not published, badges show "Coming soon on Stovefront" to anyone who visits your other website. Publish it in Website → Publish & share → Site status & address, and the badges start working on their own — you do not need to paste them again.

Common questions

Will this slow my website down? No. A badge loads no fonts, no tracking, and no scripts, and it loads only when a visitor scrolls near it.

Can I use it in an email? No. Email clients block embedded frames. Share your storefront link instead — the Copy button next to "Your storefront link" at the top of the tab.

I connected a custom domain. Which address does the badge use? Your own. Once a custom domain is verified, badges send customers there instead of your included Stovefront address.

Can I put it on more than one site? Yes. Paste the same code anywhere you like, as many times as you like.
